About
Benedikt Bäumle · Software Engineer · Konstanz, Germany
I'm Benedikt Bäumle — founder of byteskate UG and co-founder of Lapiscode UG, based in Konstanz, Germany. I work at the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, with a focus on AI systems, container orchestration, and backend development.
Before founding byteskate in 2023 and co-founding Lapiscode UG in 2025, I spent six years at the University of Konstanz as a system administrator and developer at the Chair for Data Analysis and Visualisation, while completing my degrees in Information Engineering and Computer Science. I also spent a semester abroad at Valencia Polytechnic University in Spain.
My broader interests span open-source software, web development, machine learning, explainable AI, web privacy, and (AI) infrastructure.
